Origin: Southern Peru, northern Bolivia, above 10000 feet elevation 3000 m

Growth Habits: Sprawling succulent, cylindrical stem segments up to 6 inches long (15 cm), hairy; leaves up to 0.3 inch long (7 mm); Areoles hairy; glochids; 1 spine, up to 1 inch long (2.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Yellow, up to 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), followed by ovoid yellow fruits
