The Pereskias are very primitive cacti, that retain their leaves and woody stems. There are around 20 species of Pereskias native from Mexico, the West Indies, and Central and South America

Propagation:
Contrarily to most other cacti, Pereskia cuttings should be planted immediately without a dry out period.
