    This game has a 'TRON in a tank' feel to it.

    A good game that represents that period of time in the Playstation's lifespan quite nicely. The game is graphically pleasing. When I played it for the first time it reminded me of TRON immediately. The game comes packaged in the original long box packaging which I still find one of the best looking game cases for any home console system ever. The later plastic jewel cases are easier to keep in good condition but they are not as pleasing to the eye. This game may become to difficult to hold some players' attention but it is nice to look at while you're playing it.

    Assault Rigs preview

    In the future, physical sports will be eliminated. The only sport left will be the virtual ASSAULT RIGS. As one of the best rig jockeys in the world, you must guide your hover tank through 40 levels of virtual mayhem. Win, and make your sponsor, ZamCam, Inc., the biggest sponsor of the World Net Championship. Lose, and suffer the consequences.

    Assult Rigs for PS1

    I love the simplistic yet entertaining gameplay, and you just have to appreciate the vintage graphics. With all the new systems and games out, I think its important to remember some of the roots of gaming; this game is a perfect example of that.
