NBA Courtside 2002 takes me back to the Western Conference powerhouses of the NBA, especially the Sacramento Kings. The game utilizes the Kings (as well as the other teams) in excellent ways and it feels as if I'm watching them live on NBC. The graphics look astounding, even through today's standards and there are multiple events, including the 3-point contest. The gameplay could not have been more elegant as you can set plays, steal for fast-break points, and do pick and rolls. The only major flaw for me is the controller configurations. It would've been nice if you can change the buttons, as B is to pass and A is to shoot and it takes a while to adapt to this system. Overall, this is a very good game and I would take this over the future 2K's because there are more built teams than bought teams, which is not the case for 2K12 and 2K13.Read full review
