In this 2 hour online workshop, you will be taken through the basic stitches and techniques of Shetland lace knitting.
Shetland lace knitting is known for its beautiful motifs and we will look closely at one in this workshop.
In this session you will be shown how to read lace charts and knit a sample of Shetland lace.
This workshop is suitable for a Beginner skill level. It would be an advantage if participants had a little experience in knitting.
Chart instruction and written instructions will be provided.
For the workshop, you will need: size 3.5mm needles and lace weight yarn preferably in a light colour to make the stitches more easily seen.
