One of the most versatile ground cover with brilliant chartreuse-yellow, needle-like foliage. Adds cheery color to containers, dry slopes and flowering borders. Excellent for use as year-round coverage for beds with spring bulbs. In winter, foliage turns orange in northern climates. Evergreen in mild climates. USDA Zone 3 - 11, part sun to full sun, drought tolerant, what else can you ask for.

This is a hardy plant rated USDA zone 3-11, and therefore can be planted in ground in these areas. However, it should be well rooted in ground before night temp drops below 32 degrees F for overwintering outdoors. If you have a 4-week window before that happens, planting in ground is fine. If not, it's best to keep it indoors till next spring.

Rooted plants are shipped bare root (no pot, minimum soil). Roots are trimmed to aid recovery from shipping/replanting shock. Cuttings may or may not have roots developed. You will receive a plant similar to the pictures.

Cutting size is measured either across the rosette when wide open (for single rosette cuttings) or overall length (for multiheaded cuttings or upright cuttings), whichever is larger. Cuttings may have short stems that do not stick out, which will not affect rooting.

Hardy Sedum care: USDA Zone 3-11. Needs porous soil and bright light. Water thoroughly when soil is dry.
