Cephalocereus Senilis, also known as Old Man Cactus, is a popular cactus that is tall and cylindrical, covered from top to bottom in modified spines that resemble hair. These spines grow long, looking like the shaggy hair of an old man.

Size Options:

-2” Pot: Potted Cactus.

-4” Pot: Bare Root or Potted available. Prices differ based on which selection you choose.

Light: Full Sun or Indirect Bright Sunlight.

Watering: Allow soil to completely dry out in between waterings.

Most succulents like to be watered when their soil is completely dry. Completely drench in water when it's time to water, avoid misting or spraying. Avoid letting your plant sit in damp soil and make sure your soil is porous and your pot has a drainage hole. Each variety will vary slightly.

Morning sun is always the best sun for most succulents. Each variety will vary in the amount needed.

If you select Standard shipping and your order is delayed, I cannot give you a refund for USPS delaying the package.

If you live in a cold climate and your local temperatures are freezing you must add a heat pack to your order and upgrade to Priority shipping. If your plant arrives with signs of frost/damage and you did not order a heat pack, I cannot provide a refund or replacement.

Thank you for your old man cactus. We bought it for the memory of our cat who's tail looked just like the cactus you sold us. Once we are confident that it has taken to it's pot we will transfer it out to a larger box mixed with his ashes and include some of his favorite toys in the soil. Thank you again for your business.
