Erica cerinthoides is a fantastic evergreen heather native to South Africa. It blooms almost constantly throughout the year, bearing clusters of red-orange tubular flowers over needle-like, dark green foliage. Hardy to -6c° it’s well suited to growing in the British Isles and it makes an excellent cut flower.
Grow Erica cerinthoides in moist, but not boggy, acidic soil, in full sun.
