Kerry Catherine Mulvaney and Dr. Mark Andrew Ferguson were married November 20, 2004 at 4:00 p.m., at Highland Lake Inn, Flat Rock, NC. Rev. Don E. Ferguson, Jr. officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Highland Lake Inn's Grand Ole Hall.

Mrs. Ferguson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mulvaney of Charlotte, NC. She is the granddaughter of Victoria Miller and the late Joseph Miller of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the late Matthew and Katherine Mulvaney of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School, Charlotte, NC, Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Theatre, magna cum laude, and Washington University in St. Louis with an MA in Dramatic Literature. Kerry is a freelance director in the South Carolina upstate area and an acting and directing instructor at Wofford College. In January, Kerry will also become the Program Director for Hub City Writers Project.

Dr. Ferguson is the son of Marialice Wilson and Calvin Wenzel of Clinton, TN, and Rev. Don E. Ferguson, Jr. and Debra Hall-Ferguson of Knoxville, TN. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde M. Wilson of Knoxville, TN, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Don E. Ferguson, Sr. of Knoxville, TN. He is a graduate of Wofford College with a BA in Humanities and German, magna cum laude, Washington University in St. Louis with an MA in Dramatic Literature, and Washington University in St. Louis with a PhD. in Comparative Literature and Drama. Dr. Ferguson is the director of the Wofford Theatre Workshop and an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Wofford College.

Sisters-in-law of the bride, Erin and Pam Mulvaney, hosted a bridesmaid luncheon at the Inn on Main in Hendersonville, NC. Parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Season's Restaurant on the Highland Lake Inn grounds.

Mrs. Nichole Guy of Chicago, IL attended the bride as matron of honor. Mr. Chris Story of Spartanburg, SC served the groom as best man. The attendants of the bride and groom included Mick and Ted Mulvaney, brothers of the bride, and Lara Diaz and Christopher Ferguson, sister and brother of the groom. Also attending were fifteen other great friends from all over the US and Europe.

Music at the ceremony was provided by Steve Sislen, a good friend of the couple, and Mark's sister, Lara.

Kerry's niece and nephews, nearly 5 year old triplets, Caroline, Finnegan, and James Mulvaney, served respectively as flower girl, ring bearer, and walker of Floyd, the couple's white German Shepherd.

Over the Christmas Holiday's, the couple will be traveling to Hawaii. They will reside in Spartanburg, SC.
