Gerald C. Schneider, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Gerald was raised in New Jersey and attended Hope College. He loved music and was a DJ for a time in Grand Haven, MI and Reno, NV. He loved the Reno area where he lived for several years. He started several small businesses, enjoyed log homes and miniature trains, and was an avid “Junking” shopper at antique malls.
He is survived by his son, Tom Schneider; stepdaughters, Patti Goggin, Kitty Goggin; brother, Bill and Carol Schneider; niece and nephews, Bill and Justine Schneider (Luke, Ashley), Frank and Carol Linn (Elise); and longtime friends, Norma McGleish, Scott McGleish, Buddy McGleish, Laurie and Morry Strauble, Lexie, Terry and Sandy McGleish, and Theron and Linda Wierenga.
Visitation with the family is 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland, MI 49464.
Committal service starts at 11:00 am the same day also at Yntema Funeral Home.
Burial to take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
