Mandakini opened up about an old rumor that her father had shot her. The actress candidly recalled the incident on TKKs and told Kapil, "There was a news spread that my father shot me. When I reached the sets, everybody came to me asking whether I was okay. I had no clue why they were all so concerned about me and later I came to know about the rumor."
Mandakini made her debut in Ram Teri Ganga Maili opposite Raj Kapoor’s son, Rajiv Kapoor. The movie went on to become a hit. Kapil Sharma on the show even mentioned that the waterfall in Uttarakhand, where the actress shot her scenes, was named after her.
She also narrated how she met and got married to Dr Kagyur T Rinpoche Thakur. He is a former Buddhist monk with whom she has two children, a son and a daughter.

Mandakini is a Bollywood actress who turned heads when she made her acting debut in Ram Teri Ganga Maili. The actress last appeared opposite Govinda in the 1996 movie Zordaar. She additionally made appearances in the movies Pyaar Karke Dekho, Kahan Hai Kanoon, and Dance Dance. Last August, Mandakini released her song, Maa O Maa, as a single.
