Actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack on December 14 in Mumbai while shooting for the upcoming Akshay Kumar film, Welcome to the Jungle. A family member of the actor told The Times of India that Shreyas is doing much better now and will soon be in a condition to speak to the press.
SHREYAS TALPADE'S FAMILY SHARES HEALTH UPDATE
“Shreyas Talpade is better now. He has been recovering well and the surgery went fine. He looked at us and smiled today morning. That was relieving to all of us. He will himself talk to you in a few days time," the family member was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
Earlier, Shreyas' wife Deepti had shared a statement regarding his condition on her Instagram handle and said that Shreyas is now in a stable condition and is recuperating after surgery. An angioplasty surgery was performed on the actor after he had a heart attack.
It was earlier reported that his co-star Akshay Kumar had paid a visit to Shreyas after hearing about his condition. Shreyas is currently admitted to the Bellevue Hospital.

On the work front, Shreyas will be seen in Welcome to the Jungle, which stars the likes of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon.
Shreyas is known for his work in films such as Iqbal, Om Shaanti Om, Golmaal films among more.
