Petasites albus (L.) Gaertn.

Stängel zur Blütezeit 10-30 cm, später bis 60 cm hoch, mit schuppenförmigen Blättern. Grundständige Blätter am Ende der Blütezeit erscheinend, breit-nierenförmig, lang gestielt, bis über 40 cm breit, doppelt buchtig-gezähnt, unterseits graufilzig. Leitbündel im Blattstielquerschnitt zerstreut (vgl. Tussilago, Nr. 2148). Köpfe zahlreich, in kurzer, dichter Rispe, nur mit Röhrenblüten, diese weiss. Früchte 2-3 mm lang, mit ca. 12 mm langen, weissen Pappusborsten.
