It was very interesting spending a little time with Anthony Pratt, executive chairman of Pratt Industries and Visy, during his visit Thursday to my home, Henderson County, Ky., where we broke ground on Pratt’s new $500 million recycled paper mill and cardboard corrugater plant. Mr. Pratt, who is based in Melbourne, Australia, asked a lot of questions about the tornado that hit West Kentucky and expressed sincere concern. I appreciated that. In addition to his impressive record of entrepreneurship, especially in expanding his business in the United States over the last 30 years, Mr. Pratt came across to me as a fun, down-to-earth guy who seeks to do good and become engaged in the communities his company touches. I look forward to the next time he returns to Henderson, which could be when we cut the ribbon on the plant here in 2023. Until then, Mr. Pratt, cheers, good on ya, and, as we say in Kentucky, y’all come back now, ya hear?
Great post and always good to hear the economic growth of Kentucky and its partners. All the best wishes.
Happy For Henderson County!

2yI watched the ground breaking ceremony. He seems like a down to earth straight up kind of guy. Brad, your circle of Southern Hemisphere friends grows larger. Just keep in mind SA wine is better than Australian 😉
