Tomorrow is the 14th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, which changed the lives of tens of millions of Americans. This morning, we released 26 new interviews from the Obama Presidency Oral History that together tell the story of the Affordable Care Act. Collaborating with Huncwot and Jean-Philippe Cointet, we also developed new features on the project's site that reveal over 1,700 stories. Check it out:

Using our NYC COVID-19 Oral History, Narrative and Memory Archive, The New York Times explores why it’s so hard to talk about the Covid-19 pandemic—and what there is to gain from doing so. Starting in March 2020, in the heart of the nation’s Covid-19 outbreak, our team set out to document the pandemic experience in NYC by interviewing hundreds of New Yorkers—illuminating the social structure of the crisis through oral history interviews, written diaries, and survey data. Whether you work in packaging, manage a consumer brand, or—like me—are a consumer who cares about the future of our planet, Impacked is a company you want to know about.
Today, we are excited to announce that we've closed a $2.5M seed round led by TenOneTen Ventures with participation from SpringTime Ventures, OneValley Ventures, FJ Labs, XFactor Ventures, First Row Partners, and strategic angels. Natasha Trueman and I started Impacked to modernize the way packaging is bought and sold, while driving our industry forward to more sustainable solutions. Product launch timelines are accelerating. Supply chains are reshuffling. And the health of our planet is one of the most important issues of our time. Now more than ever, our industry needs a better way to connect and collaborate. This new round of funding takes us one step closer to bringing to life our vision of building the place to source every primary package on the planet, for the planet. We are deeply grateful for our incredible team and the support of our early supplier partners including Plastube, Inc., APC Packaging, Resilux America, LLC, Cameo Metal Products , IDEALPAK-Cosmetic and Personal Care Packaging, and Amcor. We’re hiring - if you're interested in making an *impacked* with us, send us a note at team@impackedpackaging.com! Thanks Haje Kamps for sharing our story in TechCrunch. https://lnkd.in/eRfew3Ca #packaging #sustainability #procurement
