Was disappointed not to be able to attend the Graduation at the Irish Management Institute last week and get the cheeky photo that goes with it! The Kitchen counter back home in Mayo had to do. Delighted to have received my Diploma in International Business Development today. This diploma was in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and the 16months I spent in the US at Portwest's Kentucky facility. An unbelievable experience and met some fantastic people on the way. #HappyOut #EnterpriseIreland #IrishManagementInstitute

As we head into the summer semester Science_Engineering UL we have a busy few months ahead. This morning our MSc SCO students 2023/2024 started their thesis preparation journey. Again we have another excellent cohort of organisations who are going to benefit from our students #supplychain research. I wish everyone the best of luck now as they start identifying key areas of research interests and getting started on their thesis work. It’s our first time delivering the thesis preparation module using #Brightspace and the e-tivities designed are scaffolding content for the thesis proposal which will be presented at the end of August. An exciting time ahead! Nearly 10 years since I began my 1st stint at UL it's nice to be able to say that I'm a UL student again. From January I'll be starting a Professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management. I applied for this via Springboard which offers subsidised upskilling and reskilling opportunities through higher education in areas where there is an identified skills need.
