People often ask how we got into selling media, and it’s largely due to this. We know advertising works because we’ve done lots ourselves, and this is a great example. In the 1990’s we enjoyed an exciting 5-year partnership with AFC Wimbledon where we received great value and amazing coverage - and following last night’s launch of #BECKHAM, and 27 years after 'that goal', we’re still reaping the rewards! Every football fan from the 90’s knows the brand. When I see that brand, I remember “They sponsored Wimbledon” 😂 So powerful 30 years on. I’m not sure shirt sponsors have the same impact today? It was a really big deal back then. What changed? 🤔 Maybe I just got older. 😂
