I loved reading this: Royal Marines have forced US troops to surrender just days into a training exercise after eliminating almost the entire unit. The British commandos “dominated” US forces during a training exercise in California, using a new battle structure. The Telegraph understands the US forces asked for a “reset” half way into the five-day war fighting exercise, having suffered significant simulated casualties. At one point in the battle, the commandos’ “kill board”, an intelligence assessment of the level of damage inflicted upon enemy equipment and units, had a tick against almost every American asset, indicating it had been deemed destroyed or rendered inoperable. ------ So if I refer back to my Marines days, which is what I largely can base my experience against, they are a highly trained, agile force, ready to take on anything at a moment's notice, not necessarily with the right resources or kit in any environment linked together by the Commando Spirit, Values and Mindset....where we learned to improvise, adapt and overcome..(look them up). Which is somewhat different to how the other Services work, due to the nature of their role, but one which can most certainly be adopted by the Corporate world and has been in the past quite successfully. No force in the world is comparible or comes close imho For an organisation thats cicra 8000 strong, they alone provide 40%+ to UKSF, the best in the World by a country mile. As I alluded to the strength lies within the commando mindset, ethos, values and standards underpinned by the best Training package ever delivered to men. Great command and control, phenomenal leadership, empowerment, unity & collaboration and agility... Royal Marines- The thinking man's soldiers Hunt down those targets 🎯 and destroy them 💥 it's the same in business my friends...now close that deal...💪😉
