WELCOME TO THE PARTY🎉: Georgia Power announces Vogtle Unit 3 is now in commercial operation! It’s the first new reactor to enter commercial service since 2016 and the 93rd reactor now operating in the U.S. Unit 3 is bringing more than 1,100 megawatts of clean power to the residents of Waynesboro, Georgia and surrounding areas.
