I have been silent over the past year on social media. Somehow the COVID period affected my appetite to interact and to post. But as life is gradually returning to normal, I will pick up my professional postings again. The past two years have been a challenging as investors could not enter Indonesia (or did not want to get caught in the various quarantines) and projects slowed down. However, things seem to be picking up again. 2022 is slowly starting to look good again. I even had the opportunity to do some soil investigation which was a first after graduating 30 years ago. My 'desk hands' clearly were not fit anymore for such labor, I better stick to analysing and reporting :-) Anyway, soon I will be sharing my professional observations and adventures with you again.
Way to go Victor! I used to do that for a couple years as a starting field geologist. A long time ago with lots of good memories.
A real soil scientist!
Making your own assessment of the topsoil is unbeatable knowledge and insight. It can differ significantly within meters…
Glad to see you are still around and keeping busy.
Very good Victor to pick up and strengthen your former skills. Never too late to do it again. Always good to keep your feet on the soil.
Delighted to see you alive and kicking. Memories of good old times!
