Luana Andrade, a prominent Brazilian influencer, has tragically passed away at the age of 29 in a private hospital in Sao Paulo.
She was undergoing liposuction surgery with the aim of enhancing her appearance for her social media content.
During the procedure, she experienced complications, and her heart stopped approximately two and a half hours into the surgery.
The Sao Luiz Hospital in Itaim Bibi promptly halted the fat removal and tried to revive her, subsequently transferring her to the intensive care unit.
The investigation revealed that Andrade suffered from a pulmonary embolism, which was associated with a thrombosis.
Despite undergoing haemodynamic treatment, it did not yield the desired results, ultimately leading to her passing.
