PHOTOS: Swan goose goslings at Marlborough's Hager Pond

A rare domesticated swan goose, also known as a Chinese goose, ushers a gaggle of goslings across Hager Pond in Marlborough, May 17, 2022. The swan goose is native to China and Russia but domesticated versions can take up residence in local ponds. The much more common Canada geese goslings and mallard ducklings were also plying the pond Tuesday. No sign of cygnets this spring from the mute swans that call Hager Pond home.
