Update: Atlus has figured out whatever technical issues were plaguing the Divinity II: The Dragon Knight saga demo on Xbox LIVE. Therefore, it's up, and you may enjoy it.
Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga hits Xbox 360 in roughly three weeks, on April 12. And if everything you've seen so far hasn't been enough to win you over, Atlus and Larian have released a demo to Xbox LIVE, available for download and your previewing pleasure as of today.
The demo covers a portion of Rivellon's Broken Valley, with hours of exploration and gameplay -- a small dent in the 100+ hours you should get out of the full game. And you will get to play around as a dragon for a bit, toward the end of the demo.
As a reminder to pre-order, Atlus also released a preview of the pre-order bonus artbook, which boasts 52 pages in full color, in addition to developer commentary and all that good stuff we expect from decent artbooks.
Hey, what's this? A new trailer? Epic stuff.
The Xbox LIVE page/link for it seems to be down, so perhaps it was removed. We'll look into it.
- "The Divinity II: TDKS demo temporarily removed from Xbox LIVE & will return soon after tech problems are resolved. Thanks for your patience!"
Was hoping to play this demo tonight.
Why do I get the feeling this doesn't bode well.
And why oh why is the dragon form brown? I swear every game designer these past two years has to have watched Dragonheart at least 400 times. Beyond Demon's Souls I don't think I've seen a single dragon that wasn't brown. <_
Dragon Age has purple dragons, maybe other colors...it's been awhile.
And I'd almost forgotten about Dragon Age, after the disappointment of Dragon Age 2 I think I may have begun erasing it from my memory.
Yeah, I'm not really counting DA2, but the first is stellar.
