Carl Reiner, born in the Bronx on March 20, 1922, is an icon in American comedy. Over his seven-decade career, Reiner created classics, from 'The Dick Van Dyke Show' and 'Ceasar's Hour' to his comedy duo with Mel Brooks in '2000 Year Old Man.' The comedian, actor, director, screenwriter and publisher won many awards throughout his distinguished career, including nine Emmys, one Grammy and The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. On June 29, 2020, Reiner died in his Beverly Hills home surrounded by family, including son Rob Reiner. Take a look back at his storied life and career.
