Amorphophallus decus-silvae is a species from Java. In the wild this species inhabits wet rainforest. Plants can attain heights 3.5 metres. Tubers either produce a leaf or inflorescence. An inflorescence is generally taller. Flowers smell foul.

 

These plants are flowering size and growing in pots. Plants are three years old. Grow Amorphophallus decus-silvae in a pot with a medium/fine bark media mixed with soil and perlite, like a terrestrial orchid mix. Grow your plant in moderate shade, never in direct or bright sunlight during the summer and give it a lot of water while its actively growing and reduce water during the winter. Grow plants in a warm or intermediate greenhouse with night-time temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees and daytime temperatures of 25 to 32 degrees. Plants will grow indoors in suitable conditions but will unlikely to flower.
