IMPORTANT NOTES:
***Please look at all the pictures carefully (and read the text in the photos) so you’ll know the sizes of the plants we’re offering in this listing.***

Phalaenopsis lindenii is a total charmer. It’s a compact plant hailing from the Philippines (where A LOT of interesting orchids come from) that produces cute, long-lasting blooms. Its mottled patterned leaves have a very attractive silvery sheen, making this species an excellent foliage plant when it is not in bloom. Its small size and ease of growth make it an excellent addition to any orchid collection. This species is somewhat hard to find in cultivation these days, and have been overlooked in commercial breeding efforts. After all, have you ever seen mottled leaf Phals like this at the supermarket? It seems like a no-brainer to breed with these, but since the Dutch and Taiwanese breeders have overlooked this area, we’ll throw our hat into the ring.

How to grow:
1) Moderate shade (avoid prolonged direct sun). Keep humidity high for best growth.
2) Water once to twice a week; let dry between waterings.
3) Use NZ Sphagnum Moss or chunky bark for plenty of aeration at the roots.
4) Fertilize twice per month.
5) Avoid temps below 50 F; temps into the 90s F or even over 100 F are tolerable if kept shady and well-watered
