Common Name The Toothed Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1/2" [1.2 cm]

Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Java as a small sized, hot to warm growing, unifoliate, epiphytic species with woody rhizome with the conic, 4 angled, bright green pseudobulbs spaced apart by at least 3.2" to 5.6" [8 to 14 cm] and carries a single, apical, erect, fleshy, narrowly ovate, blunt-ended leaf that narrows below into a distinct 1" [2.5 cm] long, petiole and blooms in the fall and winter on a 3.2" to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in an umbel at the apex of the scape, all held above the leaves.

This species can best be grown in semishade, on treefern, pots or baskets with regular watering and fertilizer year-round.

Said by Verm & O'Bryne to be a synonym of B fenestratum but I have left them separate for now pending better references.
