Common Name The Dragon-Like Disa
Flower Size 2.4" [6 cm]
Found in southwestern Cape Province in mountains on dry slopes in litter under bushes at elevations of 300 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with hysteranthous basal, in a rosette, lorate to linear, spreading leaves grading to cauline leaves with dry sheathing that blooms in the spring on an erect, loose to sub-corymbose, to 24" [to 60 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence
