Description
River Cooba is a bushy tree with drooping branches and foliage, that grows 4 m to 10 m tall (sometimes more). The grey-green phyllodes are long and narrow, growing 14 cm to 40 cm long and up to 7 mm wide. Cream yellow flowers are produced mainly in winter and spring. The flower heads are spherical and 6 mm to 9 mm in diameter. Seed pods grow 10 cm to 26 cm long and about 8 mm to 12 mm wide.

along watercourses in arid interior

Distribution
River Cooba is found in inland arid areas eastern of Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, north west Victoria, eastern South Australia.
