Product Details

Height: Evergreen shrub or ground cover that grows from 1 to 2 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in dry to moist soil in full sun to full shade.

Foliage: Think, sharply pointed leaves that are red to purple in more sun exposure.

Flowers: Small, bright yellow flowers form tall, conical clusters and bloom April to May.

Fruits: Blue, edible berries.

Bark: Brown gray bark.

Natural Habitat: Found in light wooded area.

Why is it good for my garden? Low Oregon grape is a great evergreen plant for a taller ground cover. Flowers bloom early and berries late in the season bring in pollinators and birds. Berries are edible and tasty. Spotted Towhee love these berries.
