Welcome! My name is Maren Pinder. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couples struggling with issues related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, parenting, self-esteem, and trauma. I strive to create a warm and authentic atmosphere where my clients feel safe to explore and fulfill their mental health needs. Common practices I use include emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy with a focus on each client's unique experience and individual needs. I believe each person is the expert in their own lives and has within them the ability to create a healthy sense of wellbeing. I strive to create a laid-back, personal, yet professional approach to counseling.
