Uses

Burkina Faso (Bourzanga, Bam Province). The Mossi people prepare a sauce from the heavily [sic] boiled leaves. When the water has turned dark and fallen just below the top layer of leaves, millet flour is added. When the water has boiled away, the contents are stirred and are then ready to eat. vernaclar names (Mossi) – Kisga. [NB this plant is stated to be much sought after, in times of famine; however, it is not clear which, if any of these uses was common to famine use.]
