An absolutely beautiful bromeliad with countless, narrow, silvery gray leaves and a tall inflorescence with bright red bracts that have long, ribbon-like tips. Tillandsia carlos-hankii is native to high elevation oak-pine forests in southern Mexico in the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas.
