Description
A species with the same 50 cm height and huge, 20 cm umbels as its relatives cristophii and schubertii. However, the flowers are of a unique, white and greenish-straw colour. It makes 3-5, short, 10 cm wide, attractive silver leaves, which dry out at flowering time like its relatives.
A sunny site is best in a loam soil and it must be dried off after flowering ceases. In our climate annual lifting is essential for all Allium caspium forms. as this is a dry-living species.
