GIANT ELEPHANT PALM

(4mAD) Kerriodoxa elegans (White Backed Palm). Recently named and only discovered in 1929. This is a rare and amazingly beautiful palm with huge glossy green, solid fan fronds one meter across. Eyecatching white on the under surface. Endemic to Thailand. Grows well from Sydney or equivalent to the north. Large 5 leaf plants 60cm tall in 15x15x20cm square pots. Sent loose rooted with roots intact.
