Robin E. Matthias of Greenfield, Ind., and Kris J. Zimmerman of East Berne announce their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sandy and H.H. Matt Matthias of Greenfield, Ind. She is a graduate of Greenfield Central High School and earned a bachelor of science degree at Adrian College in Adrian, Mich. She is the development and marketing coordinator at CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services in Clifton Park. Her fiance is the son of Kathy and Brian Whipple of East Berne and the late James P. Zimmerman. He is a graduate of Berne Knox Westerlo High School and a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, with a degree in applied sciences. He is a HVAC technician for GA Bove Fuels. A Sept. 29 wedding at Longfellows is planned.
