Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford Full Participant Ahead of Seattle Seahawks Clash

The Los Angeles Rams will have starting quarterback Matthew Stafford back as a full participant in practice on Wednesday ahead of their game versus the Seattle Seahawks.

As the Los Angeles Rams come off their bye week and begin preparations for Sunday's game versus the Seattle Seahawks, starting quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to progress in his recovery from the right thumb injury he suffered in the Week 8 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

For the first time since suffering the sprained UCL in his throwing hand thumb, Stafford was not among the list of players who coach Sean McVay revealed Wednesday that will be limited in practice.

McVay then added that he does not envision any problems for Stafford, whether it be to throwing or receiving snaps under center, even with the rainy and wet conditions during Wednesday's practice

The news comes after the Rams made two moves following the initial injury to bolster their depth in the quarterback room, by signing former No. 1 overall pick Carson Wentz following the 20-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

With the additions of Wentz, the Rams released Brett Rypien following his lackluster start versus the Packers, who has now since joined the Seahawks practice squad.

Stafford's return to the field couldn't have come at a better time for the Rams, as they sit three games below .500 at 3-6 after a promising start to the season. With just seven games left in the year, the Rams hope a now fully healthy Stafford can get them back on track with a win over their NFC West rivals, the Seahawks, on Sunday.

Kickoff between the Rams and Seahawks is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. inside SoFi Stadium.
