The St. Joseph-by-the-Sea freshmen girls’ cross country team finished in second place at the CHSAA Catholic State Intersectionals last week. For the Vikings, it’s the best finish in the meet for the school since the girls took gold in 1997, according to head coach Chris Mancusi.

St. Anthony’s won the team title with 24 points. Sea (87 pts) topped Kellenberg Memorial (130 pts) to take second place overall.
