About the Author
Roger Hawkins has had a diverse career in senior leadership positions in a variety of settings, ranging from therapeutic camp programs, youth leadership within a military cadet organization, the treatment and counselling of youth with mental health issues, youth homelessness, retail sales, residential real estate, property and resort management. In his first book, The Divine Mystery Revealed, he shares the enlightenment and lessons he has learned from the challenges he has faced in his own life, through his various vocations and through his relationships with the people that have crossed his path.

The Holy Spirit provides all of us with a direct link to our Source and Creator—God. Through this communication link, the messages came as thoughts within my mind in the form of a letter. I typed the messages as I received them. Their content may contradict many of your current beliefs, which might cause you to question the authenticity and the source of the material. From your earliest days, like a sponge, you absorbed all that was happening around you in your life in the world. From these first experiences, you began to formulate beliefs, thoughts, and feelings about yourself, the people in your life and the world itself. Your ego self, began to create the concept of who you are in your mind,based on its interpretation of the information and experiences provided to you from your environment and the people you interacted with.Your ego also began to form judgements and opinions about everyone who interacted with you and the world you think you’re living in. In short, your ego created your worldly personality which became the self that you identify with as your identity in the world.![]()

Through your sponge days, you began to learn the values, beliefs, prejudices, and biases of your family and your larger community. You learned what is right and wrong, good and bad, according to all those who have influenced you during the formation of your personality and belief system. Your family’s and community’s beliefs became integrated into your worldly identity The social conditioning you received from these influential forces in your early life, formed the basis of all that you believe in. Part of your mind became completely identified with your ego. Your ego in order to maintain control over you, continued to affirm your separation from God and everyone else. It is important for you to remember that no matter how inaccurate your thoughts may be, these thoughts were necessary for you to participate in the worldly drama that you have created for your learning and personal growth.![]()

In truth, your true spiritual nature remains connected to God’s Spirit throughout your worldly experience. It can be no other way. This is who you really are. In fact you are a spiritual entity having a worldly experience that you have created with others for the benefit of all.![]()

The ego creates the illusion that it is all there is, that what we’re experiencing in our dream is truth—our truth. This is the grand misconception of our reality, and it’s based on wrong thinking. We think that what we’re experiencing is real, but it’s an illusion. As we progress in our dream state, we create experiences—revelations that allow us to awaken from our dream and begin to recognize our true self, our immortal being. In doing so, we provide ourselves the opportunity to express who we really are. In expressing our truth as spiritual beings, we bring the light and love that is really us—God—into this illusionary world. We can live and feel the great love and joy that this awakening brings to us. That which we are, the stuff we are made of, is the essence of All that God Is, God in us, God energy, God consciousness. This life force can neither be created nor destroyed. All that there is in this Universe and beyond has existed throughout eternity. From before the beginning to the end, of which there is no end that which we know as God has existed.. We affirm our true spiritual natures as we participate in the great drama that we all have created in our worldly lives for our learning and personal growth. All life energy is creating with us, simultaneously, resulting in a multitude of differing but joined experiences. This is the wonder of God. The dream state is illusionary. There is nothing that is real. A great drama of your physical life is unfolding, not unlike a movie on a screen. The movie itself is light energy and has no form. It is an illusion as well, and in no way represents what is real. Together, we have created the drama within our dream state that we all have chosen to experience together. Many of us spend a great deal of time thinking about the events, experiences and individuals who have had an impact on our lives from our past.. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Who we perceive ourselves to be, as our worldly persona, is a culmination of all that we have experienced throughout our lives. As a result of all the drama that we have faced in our lives, we often live under our own judgement and condemnation and the judgement and condemnation of others. This results in our harbouring feelings of guilt, shame and regret for our perceived shortcomings and the shortcomings of others. ![]()

We may look back over our past life and wonder how our life would have been different if we had made different choices. Is there anything you regret, feel ashamed of, or feel guilty about, as a result of your own past conduct? Have you been traumatized by some of the terrible experiences that you have seen or been a party to in your life? Often times we carry our past memories with us throughout our lives. We constantly re-live these energy charged events through the thoughts of our mind. Can you relate to this in your current life circumstances. We all carry stuff from our past. The thing for you to remember is, the past has no bearing on the present moment in your life and is gone. Who you are is not your worldly persona. There are no victims and no one to blame for all of the tragic happenings and terrible ways we treat each other in our illusionary world..
