Pandanus is a tropical plant in the Pandanus (screwpine) genus, It is an upright, green plant with fan-shaped sprays of long, narrow, blade-like leaves and woody aerial roots.

Pandanus thrives in dappled sunlight to direct sunlight. Non-acclimated plants should not be exposed to direct sunlight to prevent scorching. Pandanus can be drought-tolerant, especially when they get a little bit older.
