Wow. Those look really nice. What did you have to do to put them in? _________________ Tim Potts

Nice, seat upgrades are high on my comfort list. Do they still rotate? _________________ 1980 Vanagon Westfalia (As-You-Want Brown)

Cmon.....you can't post a pic like this and just leave us hanging?
This looks amazing and it looks like a lower seat than my eurovan seats...im tall...need to lose a few inches of seat height.... _________________ 84 Westfalia Vanagon

I imagine salvage yards having a run on S2000 seats tomorrow. _________________ Tim Potts

No arm rests. That's a deal breaker for me, besides, I find the stock seats hard to beat. _________________ "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin |

I purchased these seats off of ebay for $450. They are in great condition. It sure beats spending $3600 on the Recaros from Go Westy. I did, however, use the Go Westy idea on mounting them. If you go to their site and search for the video on Recaro installation, you can see how they utilize the two holes in the stock seat slider. I mounted 2" by 3/16" steel to the stock track just like Go Westy mounts their hardware for the Recaros. The Honda seat mounts sit about two inches wider then the tracks on the stock seats. Once the steel was mounted I set the new seat on the steel and figure out the optimal location. I then drilled the holes and trimmed the steel and painted it...custom adapter. I'm 6'2" so I removed the rotational device from the driver side. I never thought it was very practical anyway. The passenger side still rotates with no problem. The seats do sit at an optimal height and are not too high. I have an 82(Subaru powered) with the big steering wheel and it was important to not have my legs jammed up underneath it. As far as arm rest goes, I never had them and I don't miss them. I'm sure I could figure a way to mount some if I changed my mind in the future. |

99-2005 Seats. Later years may work but there is not the hole in the headrest. |

Very cool - how bad is the seat-bolster (right term?) when sliding in/out of the van/seats? _________________ '91 Syncro 16 Reimo Hightop Conversion, eTDI |

I'm pretty sure armrests can be added to almost any seat with a solid back rest frame, if you're willing to spend a little time dismantling and welding in the proper receptacles _________________ Casey--
