In the third " Back to the Future, " which sees Doc and Marty travel to 1885, Lea Thompson took on two roles: Marty ' s mom Lorraine, which she played in the prior two movies, as well as Maggie McFly, one of Marty ' s ancestors. Since the series, Thompson has done it all, from " Dancing With the Stars " to her own sitcom, " Caroline in the City. " But she ' s invariably recognized as Lorraine. " People know me because of these movies, it ' s just an amazing part, " she told USA TODAY.

Lloyd has continued to act in TV shows since his " Back to the Future " days, including voicing a part on the animated series " Cyberchase. " Lloyd put on the lab coat again, reprising his role in the " Back to the Future " TV series in the early ' 90s.
