Actress Melissa Gilbert, best remembered as a little girl on Little House on the Prairie, is engaged to actor Timothy Busfield, best remembered as Elliot on thirtysomething.

It would be the third marriage for each of the two TV veterans.

Her rep confirmed the news in Us Weekly, which reported today that the couple celebrated their engagement Monday night at the Beverly Hills restaurant Mr. Chow.

Gilbert, 48, a former president of the Screen Actors Guild and lately seen on Dancing with the Stars, has two children. Her ex-husbands are Bo Brinkman (they divorced in 1992) and Bruce Boxleitner (their split after 16 years was finalized in 2011).

Busfield, 55, and a former cast member of The West Wing, is a father of three, and has been married to Radha Delmarter and Jenny Meriwin.

The magazine said the two have known each other for a while, their paths having crossed many times in Hollywood over the past two decades.
