Key to Tasmanian Dicots

Grevillea australis (Proteaceae) 3:606

This species is quite widespread and is very variable (there are several subspecies described). It has narrow, entire leaves with recurved or revolute margins, and with a hairy undersurface. However the size and width of the leaves varies greatly. The flowers are white or cream and are relatively small. It is very common as a low shrub in the drier alpine and subalpine areas, especially on the Central Plateau, but also occurs as a moderately tall shrub along rivers in drier areas at lower altitudes.
