H&H 48 (DP2288 1967 Bedford VAL14 1219 Midland B48/24D) at Christchurch, New Zealand on 08/01/1987. 28 Bedford VAL14 were received in New Zealand in one batch are 1963 (Chassis Numbers 1204-1240 & 1301-1304) and were Bodied by 9 Coach Builders (GMB (1), H&H (1), Hale(1), Hawke(2), MMB, McWhinnie Midland (7), NZMB(8) & Pomeroy(1)). All have been withdrawn as PSV and some survive as Motor Homes.

British European Airways C519, 953ALR, was a Bedford J4A2 tractor unit coupled to a B.T.C. Semi-trailer chassis with a Samlesbury B24C (originally B44C) body new in 1961. These had centre entrances on both sides. It was one of twenty such vehicles used for airport terminal transfer work at London Airport and was non-P.S.V. Next to it is one of the ten Marshall bodied Bedford VAL14s new in 1967 which were used in a similar manner.
