You can book McArthur Manor for any duration of time and feel at home here. It’s an impressive looking Georgian building, but also feels like a cosy home. Enjoy a relaxing or exciting stay, as you would in your own private “hotel” (with or without staff, at your choice).

The Manor is a real haven, where gatherings, retreats, reunions & any kinds of celebrations are welcome. We find that the Manor is an ideal place to get together in an intimate atmosphere and create memories to cherish.

The Manor underwent a complete renovation, while retaining its original period character. The authentic Scottish décor enhances the charm of this luxurious property, with notable features including:

15 bedrooms which all have their own en-suite bathrooms
a beautiful celebration space / games space with pool table & table tennis table
your own private pub (that can be left fully stocked or empty for you to supply the drinks)
a spacious yet cozy lounge with a grand fireplace
a large commercial kitchen facility with pizza ovens
2 dining rooms
an enclosed courtyard
a front patio with furniture for 30 guests and adjoining bandstand
We love that the communal spaces are very welcoming and perfectly serve as a hub, creating an excellent environment for everyone to come together.

You have the option to self-cater, or our team can provide catering and entertainment, as per your wishes (all staffed services are charged on top of the rental fee, based on your requirements and guest numbers).

Our range of services are designed to cater to every need, from breakfast, lunch, party food or formal dinner options, to airport collections and designing bespoke itineraries for your whole visit.

Pets are allowed at the property. Disclosure of pets must be made upon booking.

Wheelchair available for guest use, portable ramp, handrails in ladies and gents toilets.

Commercial Wi-Fi set-up with every room having a hub, you can walk through building and will connect automatically to strongest signal.

Kitchen

Large kitchen: dishwasher, glass-washer, 2 pizza ovens, 2 large fryers, steam oven, 6 ring burner, gas oven, 2 microwaves, washer and dryer.

Dining Room

2 dining rooms, both can seat up to 32 people, both have open fires. The beautiful function room can seat up to 100 people for an event dinner party.

Sitting Room

Period room with triple height ceiling, grand piano, Chesterfield sofa set, gramophone, wonderful decorations, big open fire and 50" TV, sound system.

TV and Music Facilities

A music system is wired throughout the downstairs of house in the halls and common areas. There is a 50" TV for films and presentations in lounge.

Games Room

Games room is set up with table tennis and English pool as standard. Further rental entertainment items are available.

Heating and Open Fires

A new heating system was installed in Nov 2018. All radiators have thermostatic valves. There are 4 open fires as well a large wood-burning stove.

Bedrooms

15 en-suite bedrooms for guests. 3 four-poster superking beds + flexible mix of zip link, double and single beds.

Linen

Beds are made up with bedding according to your bedroom setup request. Towels are provided (hand and bath towels) for each guest.

Bathrooms

Each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities, so no sharing. Mainly showers, 2 baths. Additional Ladies and Gents facilities on the ground floor.

Children's Facilities

3x High chairs, 2x travel cots + 4x fold up 'Z' beds are available. Family friendly DVDs and games are provided.

Outdoor

The Courtyard is a special spot and there is a large front garden with a patio, BBQ and lots of seating.

Swimming Pool

Local swimming pool is a 8-10 minute walk from the Manor.

Parking

Parking for up to 20 cars on site.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Underneath the Dovecote in courtyard and the Summer House at the front are designated smoking areas.

Booking Information

4 nights charged at £8200, 5 nights at £9900, 6 nights at £11600.

For Xmas and New Year, 4 nights is £10800, 5 nights £12800, 6 nights £14800.

Location

This private estate is only 10 minutes walk into the town which has a large Tesco supermarket. 30 minutes drive from Perth or Dundee and 1.15 hours from Edinburgh.

Blairgowrie town centre is close to the property. All local services are adequate and it is very convenient having these at your doorstep.
Co-operative convenience store is a 5 minute walk along the main road.
We serve meals upon request at the property. The town centre of Blairgowrie also has many eateries, cafes and pubs.
Dundee airport is 30 minutes drive. Edinburgh airport is 1 hour 15 minute drive.
Perth train station is the closest place with good links. It takes 25 minutes to drive there from the Manor.
Local bus station in town centre is a 10 minute walk.
