Wow. Didn’t see this coming. Very appreciative to Newsmax for the recognition and to SuperTalk Mississippi for the opportunity. Never know God’s plan. Love my home state of Mississippi. Our best days are ahead! #mississippiproud Credit and thanks to all those who positioned me for this recognition. That starts with my saintly in-laws who provided the deed to their life savings, a nineteen-acre parcel on I-10, as security for the $189,000 start-up loan to seed Venture (launched as MicroAge). Also grateful to family and a friend who also provided start-up capital. Thanks to my co-founder and other business partners who each contributed mightily to our joint success. Venture was constantly blesssed with a world-class team who propelled the company to be a nationally recognized IT solution provider. Impossible to succeed without a solid organization Finally, thanks to my wife of 42 years for supporting my career and enduring life with an entrepreneur.

This announcement is featured on Page 23 of today’s Wall Street Journal. A few weeks ago I was honored to share that I was named as a Who’s Who in America biographee. Today I learned that I was included as one of nine Distinguished Leaders among the Who’s Who. Blessed indeed. #mississippiproud

In addition to being recognized as Who’s Who in America, I was recently notified of being honored as a Top Professional among the Who’s Who class. Humbled and grateful.

I’m am honored to be inducted into the Who’s Who in America biographical register. Bio published earlier this week. Link below. Accomplishments in life are not achieved without lots of help along the way. I have been abundantly blessed with an amazing family, world-class colleagues and fantastic friends. I’m especially proud to represent my home state of Mississippi in this distinction.

I am honored and humbled to announce that I have been selected for inclusion as a Marquis Who’s Who biographical listee. Since 1898, Marquis Who’s Who has been the world’s preeminent biographer, featuring the biographies of 1.5 million of the most accomplished individuals across the globe, representing all fields of endeavor. Behind every person’s individual achievements is an army of those who enabled their success. For me, that starts with my saintly parents, faithful and supportive wife Julie, and awesome children Alex and Nick. So many others throughout my life and professional career also played a key role. Photos from my recent visit to my alma mater, the Ole Miss Patterson School of Accountancy. It was a full day, beginning with lunch with the faculty, followed by small group break-outs with upperclass students, then general session/lecture. My takeaway impression of the students: Intelligent, respectful, attentive, engaging, energetic and professional. Much success is waiting for them. The future is bright. Congratulations and thanks to Dean Mark Wilder, Dr. Morris Stocks and the entire outstanding faculty for their efforts to establish the PSOA as the top Accountancy program in the SEC and a perennial top 10 in the nation.
