OFF - FOR SALE: Holophone Soprano Speakers

European Holophone System (EHS) Sopranos, second owner, all-original, with original boxes and packing material. Unobtainium, mostly. Previous owners wish they never sold them (see 6Moons -the one that got away, by Jules Coleman). One grille gently removed to check drivers - mint surrounds and tweeters. 4 ohms, about 90 db efficiency, best with single-ended 300B amps but works with anything. Google them for more info, these have NOT been recapped or altered in any way. A few dings in the corners (see pictures). Placement: on the floor, no stands, supports of any kind are needed, huge soundstage from a small footprint about 30"x14"X10". I was using them with a REL B3 sub but downsizing and have no room for a sub. Without it they cut off at about 65 Hz. These are best for classical music, not rock, as tonality and midrange is what they excel at. Never thought I'd sell these but have enjoyed them for nearly 40 years, time marches on.....
