Amazing watch that lasted me 10 years. I have replaced it with a newer model - not cause it stopped working but because I wanted to have something different.
Review:
This is my second G-Shock and the best watch I have ever owned. I was looking for a watch that has a bit of a classic look so that I can wear it every day in the workplace or wherever I go (traditional G-Shock watches with their chunky design and crazy colours would not match that criteria). That same watch should also be tough enough to be used outdoors, swimming, etc. This watch is unbeatable - I have used it for over 5 years now, every day, every activity, anywhere I went. Swimming, Running, Cycling, Canyoning, Orienteering - the watch is tough as despite its classic looks. The only thing I had to replace after about 4 years was the plastic wrist band as it was tearing apart in one place. An absolute fantastic watch with lots of useful features such as world time zones, multiple alarms and background light.
Pros:
- Super tough, yet a non-intrusive, classic look
- Good size and form factor for every day use
- Shock and water resistant
Cons:
- None.
Comment:
Would recommend this watch to anyone looking for an elegant looking watch that is super tough and durable at the same time. Wouldn't buy anything else. Note - although this exact model is no longer sold, a similar newer model is now on office from Casio.
