I googled microwave symptoms it suggested a fuse had blown inside the microwave. I used a screwdriver to remove the cover checked for inline mounted fuses. I found a large inline fuse from the transformer. I needed a thin screwdriver, smallest I had, to release the lock pins, remove the fuse lead from its contacts. I got my multi meter 15 from dick smith on resistance setting measured for continuity. The fuse had blown. Once again google led me to Big warehouse and I soon found the part I needed. It took 2 days for my order to arrive 15 mins for me to fit the new fuse. Works like a treat. Thanks Big warehouse.
I had a friend with knowledge of electronics to do it for me. Requires some expertise in removing the outer cover and an internal cover. Not for your regular handyman
